Corporate Giving & Engagement

Partner With US

Rewarding opportunities for employers and employees to support Big Brothers Big Sisters and the kids living and learning in our community.

Mission Partners

Ignite the potential of East Central Wisconsin’s youth by becoming a Mission Partner. Our Mission Partners contribute to the sustainability of our organization and support our efforts to match Littles with someone who will stand in their corner – now and always. Mission Partners are the champions of our organization as they support several events and initiatives throughout the year.

Sponsorship

Big Brothers Big Sisters hosts many fundraising and match events throughout the year. Your sponsorship helps us offset the costs associated with these events and allows your employees to see our programs in action through event participation and one-time volunteer opportunities. We’ll work with you to find the opportunity that fits with your goals, reaches your target audience, and provides meaningful sponsor benefits. Our event sponsorship opportunities include:

  • Dream Big Gala

  • Annual Picnic

  • Bowl for Kids’ Sake

Corporate Giving

Consider supporting BBBS programs through a grant, a gift toward a specific project, or a gift in kind:

  • Grants – inform BBBS about your granting guidelines and process

  • Project Support – we’ll work with you to find a project that fits your interests

  • Gift In Kind – donate supplies, technology, equipment, products, services etc.

Culture of Employee Giving

Create a culture of giving at your organization by offering any or all of these opportunities for employees to support BBBS financially:

  • Workplace giving program – designate BBBS as an option

  • Matching gift programs – employee gifts and volunteer hours

  • Host a Bowl for Kids’ Sake – peer to peer fundraising event; great employee engagement opportunity

  • Workplace Fundraisers – choose BBBS as the beneficiary of your holiday party, jeans day or other fundraising activity

Engaged Employees are Happy Employees

Here are three ways to engage your employees in a rewarding and impactful volunteer experience with Big Brother:

Host a recruitment event

Hundreds of Fox Cities, Waupaca, Chilton and Oshkosh youth are waiting to be paired with a caring adult. Help us share our youth mentoring opportunities with your employees by hosting a recruitment event, such as:

  • Lunch & Learn

  • Happy Hour

  • Company Volunteer Fair

  • Customized to fit your company’s culture (intranet, newsletter, poster in staff lounge, etc.)

Volunteer as a corporate group

  • Match Activities and Workplace Mentoring - offer opportunities for employees to volunteer as a group. Plan and host a match activity for Bigs & Littles to attend.

  • Workplace Mentoring brings youth to your workplace bi-weekly to learn about careers, do arts and crafts, play games, or just talk. BBBS staff provide support, transportation, and coordinates activities.

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer a matching gift program to support employees’ volunteer efforts. Contact your employer’s human resources or benefits representative for more information.

Philanthropy Starts with You! We are grateful for the local companies and foundations who financially support our mission throughout the year.
